OHS All-Years Alumni Reunion

Here are some pictures from the Orono High School All-Years Alumni Reunion and celebration of the high school's 70th anniversary "on the hill." A buffet lunch was held Saturday, July 25, 2009, Noon to 3 pm in the cafeteria of the high school. Yearbooks were on display in the Library and students provided alumni with tours. One former Principal was present, Grover McLaughlin.

The event was sponsored by the Orono High School Alumni Association. Special thanks was given to the OHS Administraiton and staff - especially Principal Jim Chasse, Assistant Principal Bob Sinclair '72, Librarian Jane Van Arsdale, and custodial staff. The buffet would not have been possible without a generous donation from Randy Wadleigh '82 and Governor's Restaurant.

We had received 125 responses from alumni, but over 300 people attended. Everyone had expressed their interest in having this as an annual event, but it might be better to have it every 5 years. We would love to hear your thoughts.
